This website is awesome as is, but to make it more awesome I think the website should list live shows (original and cover) as well as open mics, so that the site appeals to people who like either or both. I also think it should list upcoming local music events and festivals.

Thank you,
Jaime.

I think it should become a comprehensive guide to running a beautiful home garden. You could include tips on refinishing old outdoor furniture, ways to stop pests from eating your plants and maybe even some recipes for salsa, depending on what you grow. You could also cover an Alex Siniari gig, check the blog for dates or just call me. :)

Don't see many of the North Jersey open mikes listed. Peter Prasa runs open mics at McCarthy's restaurant on Tuesday nights. Great sound system, some good talent comes by. Mostly acoustic, but saw pedal steel and drums their two weeks ago. He also hosts a Wed. night open mic at the Green Knoll Grille in Bridgewater. Drum kit, guitar and bass amps set up, keyboard and three mics all ready for use. Jim is available to play lead or backup guitar and Bill is usually there with his Rickenbacher bass ready to sit in. High energy and a good turnout just about every week.

Dan: I like the interviews too.
Perry: I think that would be interesting.

Don: It sounds like a cool idea, but I don't see myself being the one to do it.

Looking for amateur instrumentalists and/or vocalists in North Jersey to play/sing 19th and 20th century folk, ethnic, religious, patriotic and other traditional "campfire songs" for casual fun and to perform for nursing/retirement homes and charitable fund raisers, etc.
If they play or sing "by ear", so much the better!

Thanks to everyone who support artists by attending live local shows. My suggestion for this site is to morph into a comprehensive live venue schedule site for both original and cover bands for all of Southern New Jersey so music lovers can find out who's playing quickly with mapping and links to the artists' sites for sound samples. Make it EASY for people to pick a place to go and a band to hear. My two cents.

Kind regards,
